SPY - 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Klasse

In these latest set of scoop pics, the future SL shows off its sleek, sexy side profile. The iconic roadster from Mercedes-Benz will grow in size, but will also become lighter due to the extensive use of aluminium. The new SL-Klasse will display a new design language, characterized by clean, artistic lines instead of the current wedge styling theme. The front end will be dominated by the large, single-louvre radiator grille and the LED headlamps; the muscular stance of the side profile will be created with the help of the beautifully-carved flanks and the huge alloy wheels; the tail lights at the rear will be a powerful demonstration of pure elegance combined with dynamism. Inside, the dashboard will feature a brand new design, that borrows some key inspiration elements from the SLS AMG. For powering the new SL, Mercedes-Benz engineers will fit the car with powerful and efficient V8 and V12 engines. Check out more spy photos after the jump!
