LEAKED: First unofficial images of the new Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG emerge on the web

After a preliminary leak in late December, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG showed off today on the interwebs. The superlimo from Affalterbach features a fresh, powerful front fascia with an aggresively-styled air intake, an elegant single-slat radiator grille and revised, black background headlamps sporting LED technology. At the back end, just discreet, artistical changes: the tail lights received LEDs and an attractive inner design, while the rear diffuser was just slightly revamped; the quad, oval exhausts remain untouched, but just as impressive as those on the outgoing model. No changes under the engine hood whatsoever, as the new C 63 AMG uses the same 6.2 l V8 engine boasting 457 hp (487 hp with Performance Package Plus). For the first time in the history of this car, power will be transmitted to rear wheels via the sporty AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT tranny. More official information will be available shortly - don't forget to check back on Mercedes-Benz-Blog for the latest details and pics.
